What is the shelf life and is Naturally Fiji coconut oil?
Due to all the anti-bacterial and fungal properties included in pure coconut oil. We recommend consuming or using your oil within a year but tests has shown a shelf life of at least 3 years without any loss of integrity.

Does coconut oil need to be kept in the fridge?
No, it does not need to be kept in the fridge. It will actually become hard if you keep it in the fridge as it solidifies below 70 degrees Fahrenheit. In Fiji’s tropical climate, the oil is usually not refrigerated and is generally liquid. A suggested method to de-solidify is to let it stand in warm water. The natural antioxidants give it a very long shelf life. It is recommended that you store the product out of direct sunlight.

How do I know if your coconut oil is organic?
Over 90% of the coconuts grown in the Fiji Islands are grown organically. Fiji farmers generally avoid fertilizers and pesticides, and there is no need for fertilizers as the ecosystem of the Fiji Islands is naturally rich in nutrients and minerals. Our oil is far superior and more natural to artificially grown coconuts.

How long do your soaps stay fresh?
Our soaps will keep up to 1 year or more but are best used within 6 months.

Is this soap safe for babies and people with sensitive skin?
All of our soaps have natural oil properties and do not use artificial enhancers of any kind. We suggest you purchase our natural coconut soap that is uncolored if you are worried about allergic reactions.
However, if you do have sensitive skin, we advise a "patch" test of our product to determine sensitivity. All products lists ingredients used on the labels so that you know.

Are your soaps biodegradable?
Yes, they are completely biodegradable as only natural ingredients are used.
